Attempted burglary to shed at Up Nately 10:35 Thursday 10th Dec.

These people are active at moment - please remain vigilant - if suspicious call 999.

May I make residents aware of two burglaries to homes in our area with specific items of high value being taken.
The first was in Axford between August 21st and 31st, a house was broken into and various items stolen including a safe, painting and other items.
The second was overnight of September 1st / 2nd at a house in Chilton Candover where various antiques were taken.
I appeal to all residents to please be vigilant and report any suspicious vehicles, people anything out of the ordinary to the Police.
If you have valuable items such as jewellery, art works etc please photograph them and record an accurate description such as size, any unusual marks, try to mark in some way but without causing any damage and losing value.
These two house burglaries have been the only two on my former area of 78 sq miles this year, BUT is it part of a series? Please remain vigilant, check your home security, if you have lights, CCTV etc. that is broken – get them fixed, use alarms, CCTV warning signs just make sure that your valuables remain secure and with you and not stolen.
If anyone has any information that may assist within these two crimes please let me know direct, as always all calls treated in strictest confidence.
